Game Updates for Baseball and Softball
• The MHS Panther Varsity Baseball game scheduled to be played against Waxahachie tonight (3/9), has been moved to March 10th at 7:00 pm due to field conditions. The game will played in Waxahachie, and will be the Panthers first district game. Please come out to show your support!
Also, the April 1 varsity game has been changed to April 2 since the first is now a school day. Midlothian vs. Waco High @ 7:00 April 2 in Midlothian.
• The MHS softball games scheduled to be played at Midlothian against Cleburne tonight, March 9th, are being moved to Cleburne. Times will remain the same, JV at 5:00 pm & Varsity at 7:00 pm. The games scheduled to be played in Cleburne on April 6th, will now be moved to Midlothian.
Also, the April 1 softball game against Waxahachie at Midlothian has been moved to Friday, April 2.
Game times remain the same. |

Panthers to play in Arlington
The Panther Varsity Baseball team will play at the Ballpark in Arlington on Thursday, March 18th at 3:00pm against Aledo. Free Parking in B Lot & Free Admission! First Base Gates will open to the public at 1:30pm. Ballpark seating will be restricted to areas between Section 18 to Section 34 ( View seating chart). Concessions will be available behind section 127 with limited menu items. Come out and cheer on your Panthers! |

Lee Wiginton Hired as New Head Football Coach

The Midlothian ISD Board met in a Special Called Session on Monday, February 1, 2010 and named Lee Wiginton as the new head football coach of the Midlothian Panthers. Wiginton replaces Robby Clark who announced his resignation. More |

Midlothian is now a 5A School District

This morning the University Interscholastic League announced its district alignments for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years. UIL governs most secondary extracurricular activities in Texas and assign classifications to schools based on the high school enrollment. During the October snapshot date, Midlothian High School had 2,215 students. The cut-off to be considered a 5A school district is 2,065+ students. Therefore, MISD is now a 5A school district. More |
