FSMS Ring of Honor Induction
Frank Seale Middle School is proud to announce the induction of the sixth honoree into the FSMS Ring of Honor held last Sunday, September 6th. The 2009 inductee is Shirley Hedrick. An intimate group of friends and former employees gathered to help celebrate this special ceremony. Her two sons, David and Daniel, along with their families, accompanied Mrs. Hedrick. Also in attendance was Shirley’s special granddaughter Amanda.
Mrs. Hedrick served as nurse at the middle school for over sixteen years. She retired from that position in 1990. “Shirley was the only nurse in the district and she traveled from campus to campus taking care of the students in the district”, says former principal Frank Seale. Mr. Randall Hill, a former principal and teacher in Midlothian, echoed Mr. Seales’ sentiments. As a nurse for the school district, Shirley touched hundreds of lives and she put many of students at ease when they came to see her.
The Frank Seale Ring of Honor was created in the fall of 2003 and its first induction was held in September of 2004. |
