Don’t let ADHD scare you
Do you have questions about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder?  Has your child or someone you know been diagnosed with  ADHD (or ADD)? Do you feel your child may have symptoms of ADHD? Come learn about ADHD with other parents. Discuss assessment, symptoms, concerns, strategies and treatment options. Join us on Monday, March 29, 6:30 pm at Mt. Peak Elementary. FSMS Instrument Drive for Incoming Middle Schoolers
The Frank Seale band program will be hosting band instrument choice nights on the following dates:

Thursday, March 30 - 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm - FSMS Band Hall

This is a night where students can try all the different instruments, and parents can ask questions about our program. We'd love to see you there, and if neither of these nights is compatible with your schedule, please contact Terry Maxwell or Dallas Hodge.

 
  Bad Weather Make-Up Days
MISD schools were closed for bad weather on February 12 and January 7. Students will make up those days on April 2 and May 4. The inclement weather days were determined prior to the 2009-2010. View the MISD calendars page.
 
  Save the Date for "Love to Eat and Run"
Join the Midlothian ISD Education Foundation for their first pasta dinner, student showcase, and 5K fun run on Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17. The pasta dinner will include astudent art contest and auction and student group performances onriday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria. A 5K fun run will follow on Saturday morning with registration open at 7 a.m., shotgun start at 8 a.m., and an awards ceremony to follow at 10:30 a.m. Visit the MEF web site for more info.
 
 

MISD selects Take-Your-Son-or-Daughter-to-Work Day
Midlothian ISD has chosen Monday, May 3, 2010 as the day to recognize Take Your Son or Daughter to Work Day.

 
 

MISD Health Advisory to Parents
Due to inconsistencies in flu reporting, MISD has decided to remove the Type A flu chart from the website.  An increasing number of students are reporting flu, but do not know which sub type (Type A or Type B) and there are a number of students with influenza like illness (ILI) that have not seen a doctor.  MISD does not want to report inaccurate information, so it is best to remove the Type A flu chart from our webpage.  More
