Creation of Alumni Directory Underway
Posted: 6/10/10
The Midlothian ISD Education Foundation has been tasked with creating an alumni directory and social networking site for Midlothian High School. The MEF has contracted with Harris Connect, a company that has been compiling alumni directories for large high schools, colleges and universities for over 40 years. Alumni will receive a postcard or telephone call from Harris Connect and asked to call 1-877-840-6332 and discuss what information they would like to include in the directory. It is up to the alumni if they would like to be included and how much information they want to include. The directory will be provided to the district and foundation for free and available for alumni to purchase. There is no obligation to purchase. Upon completion of the printed and digital directory in the fall of 2010, Harris Connect will then create an alumni website to be controlled by MISD and the MEF. Any alumni, faculty, staff or student that has an affiliation with MISD can be granted access to the online networking tool. The MEF hopes this will be a valuable tool in connecting and re-connecting alumni in the future. |
