Our policy…
The Panther Pride is the official student run publication of Midlothian High School. Its contents and views are produced solely by the staff and do not represent the opinions of the school administration, faculty, school board or Midlothian Independent School District.

Signed guest columns and letters to the editor are welcome, but are subject to editing for length, libel, obscenity and poor taste. Submissions should be sent to Room 420.

Advertising is sold by the block. Call 972.775.8237 ext. 1190 for rates and deadline information. The Panther Pride reserves the right to refuse advertising we deem inappropriate for a high school publication.

The Panther Pride is a member of the Interscholastic League Press Conference, the National Scholastic Press Association and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

Awards include the ILPC’s Silver Star (2008) and Bronze Star (2007), the ILPC’s Award of Distinguished Merit (2006, 2007), CSPA’s Gold Medalist rating (2008) and Honorable Mention for Best High School Newspaper in the Metroplex in its category at the Dallas Morning News Journalism Day competition (2007).
