T.E. Baxter Elementary opened its doors in August of 1988. It is located at 1050 Park Place on the corner of Park Place and Mockingbird Lane. It is nestled at the back of the original Park Place neighborhood. Baxter serves students PreK-5th grade.
The school was named after T. E. Baxter, a veteran and 29-year educator. Mr. Baxter remains involved in the school. He visits each Tuesday and has reading time with students. They LOVE to see him!
